How can we help?
The need for a website in today’s world as a major marketing tool is essential. But, many business owners are often simply too busy running their business, or don’t have the skills to collate the text, images and multi-media needed for their websites. On the other hand, it can be a frustrating experience for a consumer to search for a website only to find it two to three years out of date.
We take the stress out of website content by working on-site with you and your staff to cover every facet of the business, and translate that into crisp, clear and concise copy in a format tailored for websites. We have a working knowledge of language, style, grammar, copyright and defamation laws so text can be word-perfect. We can take the fuss out of photography by shooting stunning images on-site to promote your brand and business philosophy. All of this adds up to having a website built and operational in a timely manner without wracking your brains over copy for months.
We can also reinvigorate a tired or out-of-date website and get it pumping along with fresh copy, avoiding the “billboard in the wilderness’’ syndrome.
Of course, the golden rule for websites is engaging content – we have all seen the flashy websites with complex tables and graphs. You only have a few seconds to capture your website visitor so it all comes down to a clever combination of navigational ease, text, images and multi-media. Outcross Media staff, experienced in digital media and social platforms, can help guide you through this rapidly evolving technology to build new and existing business.
Editorial services
Newspapers are rapidly moving from print to on-line content, or a digital fee-for-service. Newspapers, as we know them now in a printed form, have a finite lifespan. Increasingly, readers are demanding news on their mobile devices while businesses are investing larger portions of their budgets in on-line marketing.
Most metropolitan and non-metropolitan newspapers have their own websites, with a high daily consumption rate of news. Writing for websites is completely different from a printed newspaper format, as is the writing style and photography required for a magazine.
Outcross Media can prepare your story to suit the targeted audience, whether that be a website, industry magazine or electronic media.
We also fill a role newspapers often cannot. Most newspapers are under resourced with staff often inexperienced in specialist and technical subjects, such as livestock and agribusiness.
We can ensure your news is factually and technically correct, but written in a language understood by the general reader. Timing is critical when it comes to disseminating news. Our extensive network of industry contacts enables this to occur efficiently, meeting print and electronic media deadlines.
Packages are tailored to suit an individual clients needs with prices on application.
* Outcross Media welcomes new clients for the month of April, the Henty Machinery Field Days, Pooginook Merino stud, Rockwood Charolais and Angus studs, One Oak Merino stud, Charolais Society of Australia and Limousin Australia.
